Diversity Statement
At Cornell Farm we acknowledge and honor the fundamental value and dignity of all individuals. We actively endeavor to create an environment that is inclusive and embracing of all. It’s our goal to continue to build an ever-expanding community of diverse friends and neighbors that call our nursery and café home.
Pet Policy
Your whole family is welcome to visit Cornell Farm, including your pets!
Please keep these guidelines in mind:
- All pets must be kept on a leash or in a carrier while on the premises.
- Pets must be supervised at all times.
- Please do not allow dogs to bark repeatedly, especially on the Café porch or at the chickens.
- Clean up after your pet. We have a pet accident response kit available at Check Out. Please let an employee know if you need it.
- Please note that pets are not allowed in the farmhouse due to food service laws, this includes therapy and companion animals. Well-behaved pets may accompany you in the Garden Pavilion or on the porch.
- If your pet is stressed, please take them home.
Working service animals are welcome to accompany guests wherever they are needed.
Thank you for your consideration in helping to keep Cornell Farm a pet-friendly place.

Accessibility Details
Our boutique nursery is located on a hill with a variety of different changes in grade. It spreads over five acres. All main pathways are wheelchair accessible. Please see map below for details.
We have two ADA parking spaces: one located at the entrance to the nursery and one at the back of the Farmhouse near the access ramp to the Café.
The first ADA parking space is near the front entrance on Barnes Rd. It is close to our Patio Gazebo, which is full of outdoor color and shade plants. It has level access.
Our second ADA parking space is located at the crest of the hill behind the Café.
Cornell Farm Café has an accessible ramp located behind the Café, through the Café Patio Tent which wraps around to the front porch of the house.
If you feel comfortable with some stairs, you can access the front porch of the café directly from the parking lot. There are five stairs in that location, with a short landing after the first two.
There is a slight decline from the Garden Pavilion to reach the Check Out Greenhouse, which has a wide selection of house plants, gifts, and gardening supplies. The Check Out Greenhouse also has level access.
Our parking lot connects all major plant sale areas and restrooms with level wheelchair access. Some of the paths are gently sloping.
Two ADA restrooms (The Red Rooms) are located in the courtyard behind the Check Out Greenhouse. They include a baby-changing station.
Our edible Kitchen Garden area and extended shrub and tree terraces are located on a decline behind the Check Out Greenhouse and Café via ramps.
